Truma 'LevelCheck'
Never miss out on a freshly brewed cuppa or a nice hot shower before bed.
Having the ‘Truma LevelCheck’ in your toolkit is never a bad idea, this little gadget will display the gas level within your gas cylinder letting you know exactly when to replace your gas bottle.
The LevelCheck uses an Ultrasound sensor to accurately display the gas level in your cylinder in just a few seconds.
Simply place LevelCheck horizontally on the cylinder: if the LED is green, there is gas in the cylinder. After measuring, LevelCheck switches off automatically.
Benefits of the Truma ‘LevelCheck’:
- Measures quickly and reliably in just a few seconds
- Easy to use, with LED display, ready to use immediately
- Suitable for all steel and aluminium LPG cylinders with diameters of 200 to 350 mm
- Lightweight but sturdy
- Integrated LED torch for checking gas in the dark
- Measures in a temperature range of -15 to +40 degrees Celsius
- Not suitable for plastic gas cylinders, refillable gas cylinders, gas tanks or butane cylinders
The filling level display for gas cylinders is suitable for much more than just the camp site or barbecue. You can also use LevelCheck to check the level of the cylinder for the gas hob or wok burner in your kitchen. This handy device will also ensure that you are not stranded without gas for your DIY projects. By the way: to ensure reliable measurement, we advise that you clean the measuring head regularly with a damp cloth.
How to use the Truma ‘LevelCheck’:
1- Wipe the sensor with a damp cloth to remove any debris ensuring accurate reading.
2- Place the Truma LevelCheck horizontally to the gas cylinder at an angle of 90°.
3- Press the Truma LevelCheck into the wall of the cylinder – the unit will make a beeping noise and flash orange while the reading is being taken.
4- A final beeping noise will sound when it has been identified if there is liquid gas at the level you are measuring.
If the LED is GREEN, there is gas in the cylinder at that level. Otherwise, the LED is RED, indicating that there is no liquid gas present at the level you are measuring.
5- After measuring the LevelCheck will automatically switch off.
Note: You can repeat this process multiple times up and down the wall of the cylinder to find the level (amount) of the gas in the cylinder. Never drag the sensor down the wall!
